The initial discovery was made Tuesday morning when a caregiver found the 60-year-old woman lifeless in her Reutlingen apartment, triggering a police investigation that swiftly pointed suspicion towards the deceased woman’s brother.
Subsequent raids on the brother’s residence in Pfullingen by specialized police units uncovered the bodies of the 63-year-old man and the 57-year-old woman, both victims of gunshot wounds. A firearm, believed to be the murder weapon, was found nearby. Further investigation led police to the business premises of the 63-year-old in St. Johann, where his two sons were found deceased, also bearing gunshot wounds. The Tübingen Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Esslingen Criminal Police Directorate are jointly investigating the incident, currently operating under the suspicion of an intra-family killing followed by suicide.
