On Easter Sunday in Satrup near Flensburg, a large tree fell, striking several people. According to a report from “Bild” at least two people were killed in the incident. A woman and a toddler were seriously injured and taken to the hospital for resuscitation. The accident occurred around 11 o’clock in a wooded area. Eyewitnesses report that colorful Easter eggs had been scattered around the accident site, suggesting the tree may have fallen while people were searching for eggs. A bus belonging to a childcare facility was located nearby. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
