FDP politician Henning Höne stated that if he is elected as the party’s chairman, he intends to appoint his rival, Wolfgang Kubicki, as the party’s vice-chairman. Speaking to “Der Spiegel” Höne expressed his pleasure at the prospect of Kubicki being part of the team. He emphasized that he has always considered Wolfgang Kubicki a crucial figure within the party who deserves to continue playing an important role, a sentiment that would remain true regardless of the election outcome. Höne concluded by asserting that the relationship between the two men was based on fair, sporting competition and mutual exchange.
