Despite the deficit, Bayern showed immense resilience. Dayot Upamecano narrowed the gap in the 65th minute with a header, bringing the score to 5-3. Then, in the 68th minute, Luis Diaz scored to make it 5-4, a goal that was confirmed after VAR review.
As the clock wound down, Bayern pushed aggressively for an equalizer, while PSG struggled to create meaningful chances. There was a notable moment when PSG substitute Senny Mayulu hit the woodwork in the 87th minute. These efforts allowed PSG to seal a nail-biting yet spectacular victory at home, positioning the French champions well for the return fixture.
