Monegasque Driver Reaffirms Commitment to Scuderia Ambitions

Ferrari has announced that Charles Leclerc will continue to race for the team in Formula 1 in the coming years. However, the precise length of his new contract was not immediately disclosed.

The Monegasque, who has been with the team since 2019, has established himself as a core member of the Scuderia. The team praised his speed, talent, and fighting spirit. At only 28 years old, Leclerc is already Ferrari’s second most utilized Formula 1 driver. His performance also sees him rank second on the list of drivers securing pole positions, positioning him directly behind Michael Schumacher. Beyond his results, Leclerc has cultivated a special relationship with the team and the Tifosi worldwide, sharing the ambitions of the Scuderia and a strong sense of belonging and constant desire for improvement.

Leclerc stated that he “couldn’t be happier” regarding the contract renewal. His main aim is to bring the team back to the top. Team principal Fred Vasseur also commended Leclerc’s development and his strong bond with the Scuderia. “We know how much this project means to him, and we are excited to continue working towards our common goals” Vasseur added.
