A deadly terror attack in Israel’s Sharon region claimed one life and left at least five others injured on Sunday morning. Israeli police confirmed that the perpetrator, an Arab Israeli man, was killed during the incident. Although the military had initially reported a second assailant, it was later determined through investigation that the shooting was carried out by a lone actor. The gunman opened fire with an automatic weapon across at least three different locations in the central Israel area earlier that morning. Police recovered the attacker’s vehicle, which bore an Israeli license plate, along with the weapon used in the attack. Security forces thoroughly searched the vicinity and immediately instituted a comprehensive cordon around nearby Palestinian villages. At the scene, a 35-year-old man was pronounced dead; two individuals sustained serious injuries, while three others suffered moderate wounds. All injured parties were subsequently transported to local hospitals for treatment.
