Antonelli Takes Silverstone Sprint Win: Ferrari’s Rising Star Defeats Hamilton and Claims Podium Spot

Kimi Antonelli, driving for Mercedes, won the sprint race at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone. On Saturday, the Italian driver claimed victory in an exciting contest, edging out Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari) by a narrow margin. Lando Norris rounded out the podium in third place.

The race started intensely, featuring a strong launch from both Hamilton and Antonelli, who immediately put themselves into contention. Leveraging his experience, Hamilton managed to maintain the lead through the first corner. Nevertheless, Antonelli stayed close behind, eventually overtaking Hamilton in the eighth lap to take command of the race. From that point onward, Antonelli controlled the event and successfully defended his lead until the checkered flag.

In the midfield, several battles for position took place. Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), and George Russell (Mercedes) engaged in thrilling duels. Ultimately, Russell secured fourth place, ahead of both Leclerc and Verstappen.
