FC Schalke 04 has signed Cameroonian winger Junior Dina Ebimbe from Eintracht Frankfurt. The Bundesliga newcomer announced Friday that the player has signed a contract until June 30, 2028, and will wear the number 29.
Youri Mulder, FC Schalke 04’s Director of Professional Football, commented on the signing: “We have been looking at his profile for some time, and after positive discussions with Eintracht Frankfurt, we now had the opportunity to sign Junior Dina Ebimbe.”
Mulder further praised the acquisition, noting that Ebimbe brings significant experience to the right winger position, along with the necessary dynamism and quickness. He added that the player is versatile across multiple positions and possesses the physical capabilities required for Schalke’s demanding playing style.
The 25-year-old played last season on loan with French Ligue 1 side Stade Brest. Dina Ebimbe has represented Cameroon in three national team appearances. His training began at the Paris Saint-Germain academy, and he has featured in the Champions League for both PSG and Frankfurt. During his time in the Bundesliga, he has accumulated 14 scoring points across 57 matches.
