The drawing held in Monaco on Friday determined the schedule for the Europa League league phase. TSG Hoffenheim has been drawn to play against Crystal Palace, who were the winners of last year’s Conference League.
For Hoffenheim, their away fixtures will include trips to Olympiakos Piraeus, RSC Anderlecht, and OF Iraklion. At home, the club will welcome Olympique Lyon, Ferencvaros Budapest, Besiktas Istanbul, and Sturm Graz. Christian Ilzer, the team’s coach, will have the chance to face his former Austrian club.
Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen has also been drawn against Olympique Lyon, though this encounter will take place in France. Leverkusen’s away games are set against Dinamo Zagreb, Lech Poznan, and OF Iraklion. At home, they will host Olympique Marseille, RB Salzburg, NK Celje, and Besiktas.
The league phase is scheduled to begin on September 15, with the final match taking place on May 26, 2027, in Frankfurt.
