Earlier on Tuesday morning, unidentified individuals had attempted to cause short circuits at the substation near the Jänschwalde coal-fired power plant, with some success. However, no large-scale disruptions occurred. Meanwhile, a similar incident was reported in North Rhine-Westphalia on Wednesday morning.
