According to reports from outlets like WDR and FAZ, the 48-year-old man was arrested after being stopped during a traffic check in the Weisweiler area. FAZ cited sources within security circles regarding the arrest. Authorities had identified him after two confession letters surfaced concerning the attacks on the electrical grid. The man is alleged to have been involved in the disruptions to the power supply in the three German states.
