Nico Santos has captured the top position of the official German Album Charts with his track “POV (Personal – Optimist -.)”. GfK announced this result on Friday, while Yello (“Time Lab”) and Queens of the Stone Age (“Perfecth”) landed in the number two and three spots, respectively.
In a notable shift influenced by Halloween, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” genre received a significant boost. The album climbed from ranking 13 to number four, and the eponymous single simultaneously returned to the charts at position 18.
Looking at the single charts, Tate McRae maintained the top spot with “Housewife” for the third week in a row. Ski Aggu and Ericson improved their standing, moving from eleventh place to number two with their song “Verschwommen.” Shakira and Burna Boy followed closely behind, taking the third rank with “Dai Dai.”
The official German Charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on behalf of the German Music Industry Association. These charts cover 90 percent of all music sales in Germany.
