Shakira and Burna Boy continue to dominate the official German single charts with their song “Dai Dai,” according to a report released by GfK on Friday. Other artists closely follow in the rankings, including Summer Cem and Billa Joe (with “Killy Manjaro,” which placed second), as well as Kitschkrieg, Blumengarten, and Shirin David (“Gut genug,” which reached third).
On the album charts, Ariana Grande leads with “Petal.” The indie-rock band Jupiter Jones holds the second spot with their track “Ich trag den Sarg, Du trägst was Buntes.” The previous week’s winner, Pashanim, has dropped to third place with “Lounge Musik.”
GfK Entertainment is responsible for determining the official German charts on behalf of the German Music Industry Association (Bundesverband Musikindustrie). These charts cover 90 percent of all music sales in the country.
