The meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House was described as positive by both sides. According to reports, Trump dedicated one hour and twenty minutes to meeting with Netanyahu, and press was not present.
Following the meeting, Trump’s spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, stated that the conversations held in the Oval Office on that day-including the previous talk with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy-were “positive and constructive.”
An Israeli government representative affirmed this assessment to CNN, noting that the atmosphere was exceptionally friendly. They also reported that high-ranking members of the U.S. government were involved, and that a strong personal chemistry was noticeable between the two heads of state.
In terms of content, both countries reiterated their shared objective: preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons under any circumstances. Additionally, the discussion focused on the partnership between Israel and the United States, which the Israeli official stated is stronger than ever before.
