Trump Claims Breakthrough Deal for Hamas Disarmament and Gaza Ceasefire

Donald Trump’s “Peace Council,” which he founded, has allegedly reached an agreement for the complete disarming of Hamas and all other armed groups in the Gaza Strip, according to the former president. On Thursday, Trump announced on his platform, “Truth Social,” that upon the completion of disarmament, the Israeli armed forces would withdraw from Gaza. Responsibility for ensuring security for the residents and neighboring areas would then fall to an “international stabilization force,” alongside a newly established Palestinian police unit.

The agreement was reportedly mediated by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey. This is presented as a crucial step toward Gaza finally being governed by a new Palestinian administration that would collaborate closely with the Peace Council to assist the Palestinian people. Simultaneously, Israel would gain the security it deserves, as the Gaza Strip would no longer serve as a launchpad for terror attacks. Trump stated that this development represents a significant milestone in implementing the Trump 20-Point Plan.
