The U.S. Central Command (Centcom) reported on Saturday that at least two more U.S. soldiers were killed during the Iran conflict. They were killed while defending against Iranian missile and drone attacks in Jordan. Furthermore, one other soldier is currently missing.
The incident reportedly took place on Friday, when U.S. military forces, in coordination with partners, were defending against Iranian attacks using ballistic missiles and drones.
Four additional U.S. soldiers were flown to Jordanian hospitals for medical treatment but have since been discharged. Other troops who were examined for minor injuries have returned to duty, according to Centcom.
The U.S. Central Command also stated that the identities of the two soldiers killed will only be disclosed to their families 24 hours after they have been notified.
