Israel’s Minister Slams Greta Thunberg’s Claims

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has strongly refuted a recent media report detailing alleged poor conditions experienced by climate activist Greta Thunberg during her recent attempt to deliver aid to Gaza. Sa’ar questioned Thunberg’s credibility, characterizing her as a “fanatically anti-Israel activist” in remarks published by Bild and other Axel Springer media outlets.

The Minister asserted that Israel treated those involved in the flotilla with respect, emphasizing that the operation was conducted without the use of force. He suggested that few other nations would handle individuals demonstrating such evident hostility with the level of care shown by Israel.

Sa’ar stated that the group was repeatedly requested to transfer their proposed humanitarian assistance-which he described as minimal-through Cyprus or an Israeli port. However, he alleged their sole objective was to discredit Israel.
