The Hamburg city derby between FC St. Pauli and Hamburger SV ended 0-0 at the Millerntor Stadium on Friday evening.
From the start the match was intense yet largely devoid of clear chances, and both sides kept each other at bay over long stretches during the 19th week of the Bundesliga. HSV managed slightly more possession in the first half, but the compact defensive block set up by the Kiezkicker left little room for decisive attacks. St. Pauli remained similarly restrained, so the action largely unfolded mid‑field.
After the break the game picked up a bit. The home side appeared bolder, creating more opportunities with long‑range shots from Arkadiusz Pyrka and a volley from Danel Sinani, both of which were comfortably cleared by HSV keeper Daniel Heuer‑Fernandes. On the other side, set‑pieces brought a few threats, notably a header from Luka Vuskovic, yet the ball never crossed the line.
Despite numerous substitutions for both teams, neither side managed a break‑through goal, leaving the match a dead‑locked, no‑goal draw that fit the performance of both sides.
