German security agencies are tightening the protection of Israeli and Jewish facilities after the Israel‑US strike on Iran and Iran’s subsequent retaliation. A Berlin police spokesperson told the RND that the security measures have been “adjusted” and that police will also escort demonstrations by exiled Iranians. The first such gathering is slated for Saturday in the Kreuzberg district.
Bremen Interior Senator Eva Högl, speaking to the RND, said that the city’s security forces are closely monitoring the international situation, remain ready to react to new developments, and will adjust their measures accordingly. She noted that, for security reasons, specific protective actions are not made public. Likewise, a spokesperson for the North Rhine‑Westphalia interior ministry stated that the authorities are prepared.
