Germany Summoning Russian Ambassador Over War Aggression and Threats Targeting Ukraine

The German government has summoned the Russian ambassador, a move announced by the Foreign Office on Tuesday via the Bluesky platform. The Ministry provided several justifications for this diplomatic protest signal.

Specifically, the protest relates to Russia’s demands that the German embassy leave Kyiv, as well as the wave of attacks that have occurred in recent days. These attacks have reportedly struck hospitals, schools, and television studios belonging to ARD and Deutsche Welle, or caused damage through shockwaves. It is alleged that Russia utilized an Oreschnik-type hypersonic missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads during these attacks.

The Foreign Office stated, “Russia relies on threats, terror, and escalation. That is why we have summoned Russia’s ambassador today. We will not be intimidated by threats and will continue to provide powerful support to Ukraine”.
