Both the “Tagesspiegel” and the “Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung” reported on the events, citing the Hanover Public Prosecutor’s Office. Krach is being investigated by the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of potential bribery. According to the reports, the investigation revolves around alleged donations he may have received from a healthcare provider in Hanover in exchange for his advocacy in a bidding process. It should be noted that Krach was elected President of the Hanover region in 2021.
