FC Liverpool have signed French national forward Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain. The English top club announced the transfer on Monday.
Barcola signed a five-year contract and marks the fifth summer arrival at the Anfield Road. Previously secured players include winger Victor Munoz, and defenders Jeremy Jacquet, Ronald Araujo, and Ifeanyi Ndukwe.
During his introduction, Barcola stated, “It took a long time, but I am very happy today to be able to play for Liverpool. I simply want to be on the pitch and play. I want to achieve great things. Winning the Premier League is my biggest life dream. That is why I signed a long-term contract-I want to be a long-term part of this team.”
Barcola, who will wear the number 29, is strongest on the left flank but can also cover other offensive positions.
The Frenchman is expected to strengthen the squad managed by Andoni Iraola, who has had to cope with the recent departure of Mohamed Salah. Furthermore, Hugo Ekitike is sidelined with a long-term injury, and a potential sale of Cody Gakpo is rumored.
Last season, Barcola scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in 49 official matches for PSG. He featured in all eight of France’s matches at the 2026 World Cup and scored three goals during the tournament.
