In a breathtaking Bundesliga match, newly crowned champions FC Bayern Munich staged a dramatic comeback to defeat 1. FSV Mainz 05 with a final score of 4-3.

While Mainz failed to mathematically secure its league status, it remains settled in a relatively safe tenth position.
