Four Die in Kassel District Car Crash

A fatal traffic collision in the Reinhardswald forest during the early hours of Friday morning resulted in the deaths of four individuals, according to a statement released by North Hesse Police.

The incident occurred around 0:30 AM on the L3229 country road, east of Reinhardshagen-Veckerhagen. A passenger vehicle, carrying four occupants, veered off the roadway for reasons currently under investigation and collided with trees approximately 30 meters from the point of departure. Despite the prompt arrival of emergency services, all four individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have identified the deceased as a 32-year-old driver, a 31-year-old passenger and two female passengers aged 32 and 30. The road was fully closed to traffic for several hours while law enforcement officials conducted their investigation and to facilitate vehicle recovery. The Hofgeismar Police Station is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
