Max Verstappen will lead the grid for Sunday’s British Grand Prix, securing pole position during Saturday’s qualifying session. The reigning world champion posted the fastest time, outpacing McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris who secured second and third place respectively.
The remainder of the top ten qualifiers saw George Russell (Mercedes) in fourth, followed by Lewis Hamilton. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) placed sixth, with Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) securing a surprising seventh position. Oliver Bearman (Haas), Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine) rounded out the top ten.
German driver Nico Hülkenberg (Alfa Romeo) experienced a challenging qualifying session, mirroring his performance from the previous race in Austria. He will start the race from 19th, the penultimate position on the grid.
