Despite an initial strong performance featuring a dual header from Jamie Leweling, Galatasaray demonstrated efficiency and precision. Batrakov capitalized on a rebound to secure the first goal, and later increased the lead following a precise assist from Davinson Sanchez. Stuttgart also struggled early in the match, needing to replace the injured Atakan Karazor.
During the second half, Stuttgart intensified their attack. However, Deniz Undav and Chris Führich were thwarted by goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir. A suspected goal by Führich in the 75th minute was disallowed due to an offside call on Undav. Furthermore, Dzenan Pejcinovic was unable to breach the keeper in the 86th minute. Consequently, the score remained 2-0 in favor of Galatasaray.
