Heidenheim Re-Signs Goalkeeper Ramaj on Loan

Heidenheim 1846 has secured a loan agreement for goalkeeper Diant Ramaj from Borussia Dortmund, the club announced on Monday. The 23-year-old is returning to the club where he previously honed his skills, having been part of Heidenheim’s youth and professional squads from 2018 to 2021.

Ramaj’s arrival is intended to fill the gap left by Frank Feller, who is sidelined for an extended period due to injury. Holger Sanwald, Heidenheim’s CEO, emphasized the club’s familiarity with the Stuttgart-born player and highlighted his valuable international experience. Most recently, Ramaj was on loan to FC Copenhagen, with whom he celebrated a domestic double triumph.

“I am very much looking forward to returning to Heidenheim” Ramaj stated. His primary objective with the team is to contribute to securing the club’s continued presence in the league. Ramaj is contracted to Borussia Dortmund until 2029 and has previously played for Eintracht Frankfurt and Ajax Amsterdam.
