Bayern exploited this advantage: Luis Díaz scored in the 89th minute with a long-range shot, making the score 3-3. Ultimately, Michael Olise scored the decisive goal in added time to seal the victory.
With this narrow success, Bayern Munich advanced to the semi-finals, where they face defending champions Paris Saint-Germain.
