A homemade explosive device detonated around 8:00 PM local time on Kudrinskaya Square, near the city center of Moscow, resulting in at least three fatalities and 21 injuries. Official sources report that the explosive blast occurred at an Italian restaurant located in one of Moscow’s famous Stalin-era high-rise buildings, which was hosting a private celebration at the time.
According to the National Anti-Terror Committee (NAK), the incident involved a woman who was reportedly carrying the explosive. She allegedly attempted to enter the restaurant but was intercepted by a security guard. The explosion subsequently claimed the lives of the woman, the security guard, and another visitor to the restaurant.
